With the new Iron Man movie coming out, Iron man toys and collectibles have never been hotter. Why? Could this be the last in the series of iron man movies? Or is it just because deep down we all want to be tony stark. For me, I take the latter option. Who doesn’t want to be a playboy, millionaire philanthropist, who doesn’t want to have the ultimate nerd man cave, and who here doesn’t want to save the world and look cool doing it… I know I do.
But the truth is we cant haha so we own a little piece of movie history and nothing is ever more detailed than an iron man collectible. I have a few but nothing stands out more than the Bowen design Faux Bronze Iron Man statue. Limited to 600 pieces and sculpted by Randy Bowen and Standing at 12 inch tall this statue pays tribute to the classic look of the hero.
The pose the statue is in is great.. it’s a “oh yh .. I dare you to come at me pose” and I know ive stood there and have thought that many times. The Faux bronze paint finish give this piece that classic vintage look and the base it self is heavy and from afar you may think its an oscar statue.
Apart from the figure, the art on the box has vivid use of color and again an amazing tribute to the classic character with the classic art. Even if you deicide to keep this statue in the box ( which I dare you to as youll find it very hard ) the box alone is defiantly a conversation starter amongst the fans.
