The legendary George A. Romero recently announced that he is penning a zombie series for Comic giants Marvel.
This has been rumoured to be happening for a very long time now and when the news finally dropped I had a nerd-gasm! Being a HUGE Romero fan and a big comic book fan it’s like a dream come true, not just for me but many Horror fans.
Romero himself stated – “Writing a comic for Marvel. I’m writing it now, but its plot is a secret. Well I can tell you it won’t involve any of their on-going characters, there will be no superheroes. But it will involve zombies!”. I’m really excited to see what The Godfather of Zombies has in-store for us, the man is truly a genius and with him teaming up with Marvel it just makes it even more thrilling.
