Here we have the upcoming movie, “The Butterfly Room” by Jonathan Zarantonello. The first thing that struck me about this film is it’s amazing casting, we have Horror veteran Barbara Steele who has starred in some true masterpieces such as “The Pit And The Pendulum”, “Revenge of the Vampire”, “Castle of Blood” and many more. We also have Heather Langenkamp who’s best known from “A Nightmare On Elm Street”, Adrienne King from “Friday The 13th” and P.J. Soles from “Carrie”, “Halloween” and more.
We also have other great casting members such as Ray Wise from “The Swamp Thing” and “Jeepers Creepers II” and also rising star Erica Leerhsen from “Wrong Turn 2: Dead End”, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, “Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2”. You can’t deny that, that is some great casting!
Another thing I love is the trailer that has been released, it’s not a trailer that gives the film away, it does what a trailer is supposed to do by leaving you mystified and curious, making you wanting to see more. I wish more trailers were done this way as we see too many giving the whole plot away.
