Issue #2 of the Danger Girl/G.I. Joe crossover starts with as much action as issue #1. Granted it is not an air fight, but a deep sea dive starring Deep Six, but it is important to the entire storyline. You see in issue #1 Cobra fought to get a special cargo, but we were never told what that cargo was. Well, thanks to issue #2 and Deep Six’s dive, we know exactly what that cargo was.
Fast forward three days and we find Flint and Scarlett in their prison cell with Abbey Chase, agent of Cobra. She is letting know that there is no chance in hell that the Joes would win this fight. As she and Flint get “close”, Baroness reminds her that the Joes are scheduled to be executed once at their base. Once at the base, they are met by Destro who commands that the Joes be put in a cell until the Commander decides their fate, as in which way they will die.
Meanwhile, back on the U.S.S. Flagg, Lady Jaye, Cover Girl, and Jinx interrupt a meeting between Madame President and General Hawk about the search for Flint and Scarlett. As they argue about how some of the Joes broke ranks, they get a visit from the rest of the Danger Girl team. Madame President is furious and grabs Sydney Savage only to be knocked on the ground. Before the Joes could act, Ms. Savage ripped Madame President’s face or shall I say mask off to reveal a Cobra spy. Where is the real Madame President? Will the Joes team with the Danger Girl team?
