Before I start my picks of the week, I want to send my thoughts and prayers to our fellow NERDs in the great state of Texas that are suffering from Hurricane Harvey.  I would also like to send positive vibes to all the areas effected by this rainmaker.  As a native Louisianian, I know exactly what you are going through, but I can also tell you it will get better.  While on the subject of better, I hope my picks for this week bring you cheer.  So, let’s get started.
