Rockstar Games has released the trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5’s multi-player component. The normal deathmatch and competitive modes seem to be present with what looks like an impressive tune up to combat mechanics. Racing returns as well. Air, land, and sea races are present. More interestingly is a content creator that allows you to create your own races and deathmatches. As if all of this weren’t enough the whole map appears to be open in the spirit of GTA 4’s ‘Free Play” mode along with Red Dead Redemption style co-operative challenges such as robberies and shoot outs. This combined with the more than impressive single player footage we’ve already seen make GTA 5 a strong early contender for Game of the Year even if it will be running on older systems and other, “next-gen” games will likely pack much more graphical fidelity.
September 17th can’t come soon enough!

I like to play games and watch movies. Raspberries taste good. Punisher FTW.
