Ralph McQuarrie, the artist whose paintings and concept art were instrumental in designing the Star Wars films, has died at the age of 82 this past Saturday. Really a great artist that many of us Star Wars fans has always looked up to. Ralph has had his hands tons of other nerdy movies over the years like Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T., Back to the Future, Cocoon, and Total Recall.
