Well folks, there you have it. The entire “Wishmaster” series review.
It’s been intriguing looking over this franchise.
The “Wishmaster” series is one I’ve always looked back on fondly, I can’t tell you why but I did. I had to re-watch the movies for this review because I hadn’t seen them in so long. If I’m honest I wish I’d been able to leave it where I had a soft spot for them.
The films aren’t that old but haven’t aged well at all and I only enjoyed the first 2 entries, the first film is easily the best entry and will always be fun and entertaining to watch.
Andrew Divoff was outstanding as “The Djinn” it’s a role you can see he had so much fun playing and it makes the movie all the better as a viewier. I wish he’d stayed on throughout the series as John Novak just never could replace him.
I also wish that Robert Kurtzman had stayed on throughout the series as-well, he did a stellar job of bringing the character to life and played out a great story, it’ such a shame he doesn’t do much Director work.
“Wishmaster” is a series that’s best if you just watch the first film, the second if you’re curious but I’d honestly leave the other 2 alone.
