The month of July is here and while many people are getting ready for their vacation or planning an Independence Day celebration Pc gamers have one thing and one thing only on their minds; the Steam Summer Sale. Steam rolls out the best video-game sale of the year every year around this time but they are not the only retailer to keep an eye on. Amazon, Origin and even Target lowered their Pc games prices drastically last July to try and cash in on the hoop-la surrounding Gabe Newell’s yearly mega-sale and it’s a fair assumption they will do the same this year.
Last year the Steam Summer Sale kicked off on July 12th and ran ten days until the 22nd. In 2011 it began June 3oth and ended July 10th. Both dates are Thursdays and both sales ran ten days. This means we should likely be getting this year’s sale on either the 4th or the 11th.  I know I’ll be checking my Steam account every half hour until then. New triple-A games at 75% off? Yes Valve, we love you….now give us Half-Life 3!

I like to play games and watch movies. Raspberries taste good. Punisher FTW.
