It has been exactly one year since I interviewed the amazing Harley’s Joker (Read that HERE,) the best damn Joker cosplayer there is! So, it is only fitting that I celebrate this occasion by posting my interview with his other half. Ladies and gentlemen, I present unto you my interview with Joker’s Harley.
1. Who are you and where are you from?
I’m Alyssa King and I’m from Southern California.
2. How did you discover cosplay?
I had friends who did it in high school, but I never cosplayed in my life before I met Tony aka Harley’s Joker.
3. I really love your Harley Quinn cosplay. Why Harley?
Only seemed fitting to match my puddin’!
4. I have interviewed Harley’s Joker and I gotta know who came first, Harley’s Joker or Joker’s Harley?
Harley’s Joker. He debuted last year and I debuted this past March.
5. Do you cosplay other characters?
No I don’t, but I do plan on to cosplay different versions of Harley from the animated series then maybe branch out.
6. What is your favorite moment from your life as a cosplayer?
Meeting Bruce Timm who just adored me. Even said that I sounded, looked, and acted just like her [though minus the accent since I can’t to do it to save my life lol]. I couldn’t have gotten a better compliment from anyone else in the world….besides from my puddin’!
7. Do you have a favorite con that you attend every year?
San Diego Comic Con of course! I’m a SD native though I will be moving to the East Coast this October! So that’s super exciting!
8. What are your plans for the future?
Create more costumes, continue school once I’m settled in New York, and possibly go downstairs to eat some ice cream
