Over a year ago we did an interview with Ken Hampton of Hampton’s Custom lightsabers. Back then Ken was doing some incredible work making custom lightsabers and was happy to talk to us about his craft and starting a nerd oriented business. I follow his Facebook page which he is quite active on but for whatever stupid reason the site stopped giving me his updates long ago (insert friendly/shameless reminder to check the somewhatnerdy Facebook page out directly once in awhile). So I went to take a look at what he had been up to and what kind of off-the-wall sabers he had been making and am honestly amazed by some of the stuff he has put out lately. All of his work is custom and made to fit specific customer requests and obviously, judging from the screens below, he has been getting some very creative customers. If you’re looking for a custom made lightsaber, that is one of a kind and made by someone who will involve you to a near hands-on level in the creative process, then you should probably check Ken out at his FB page here: KenHamptonsCustomLightsabers. In the meantime you can see some of my favorites below but try not drool on your screen.
Thanks for the shout-out.
