A group of friends get together for a murder mystery party, but things take a dark turn when one hijacks the evening and is out for blood.
When I first heard about this film I got quite excited, Danielle Harris is one of my favourite Scream Queens and to hear she was directing her first film was exciting. She has a-lot of experience in the genre but there’s a difference between acting and directing but, admittedly biased, I’m fully behind her and feel she will do a great job.
With the film being a comedy/horror she has a-lot of ground to cover but she has a great cast & crew. The plot of the film has an 80’s feel to it, in the vein of the slasher classics “April Fools Day” and “Happy Birthday To Me” which makes me want to watch it even more.
The film is wrote by Alyssa Lobit, which I must admit that I know nothing of her past work but that will soon change as I’m very curious to see what her work is like. It also sounds like Harris is going back to her roots of 80’s Horror which I’m a huge fan of.
Unfortunately we’ve got too wait till 2013 but I can be patient. I know I’m not the only fan of Harris and she is putting her status and reputation on the line here, so I very much doubt she’ll let us down.
