A young pregnant woman named Ruth who escapes a murderous child cult in a small Midwestern town. She then spends the next decade living anonymously in an attempt to spare her son the horrors that she experienced as a child. She lands in the small Oklahoma town…but something is following her. Now, she must confront this evil or lose her child.
Yes you read that right, here is yet another entry into the long running “Children Of The Corn” franchise.
News of this film has been going round for a while now and this one sees John Gulager in the Directors chair. What can be done differently this time is anyone’s guess, I know I’ll end up watching out of curiosity but admittedly, and sadly, my expectations are extremely low.
