August 2012: five friends disappear while hiking on the mountains of North Italy near an ancient Templar site. January 2013: the local police find a camera surrounded by human remains. This movie shows what that camera contains. No news has been dispatched by the local police regarding the missing persons.
Italian Horror has a rich history and like many other European it’s making a comeback.
This ‘found footage’ film is being tipped as the Italian answer to [REC] and V/H/S which is no bad thing at all. Being released by EuroObscura, the independent sales agency specializing in horror and cult movies, it was entirely shot in authentic haunted locations in Italy which I hope gives it a more macabre vibe. I loved the trailer as it left you with so much curiosity and that’s a true rarity these days.
