The young reporter Ángela is rescued from the building and taken to an oil tanker to be examined. However, it is unbeknown to the soldiers that she carries the seed of the mysterious demonic virus.
It seems that the “[REC]” franchise is set to continue, I’ll leave it up to you to decide if that’s a good thing or not.
Director Jaume Balagueró returns to the franchise, it’s rumoured that the film will skip completely past “[REC]³ Genesis” and carry on after “[Rec] 2”. This means the films will go back to having a more serious tone to them which I’m very happy about.
