A family encounters spirits living among them in their New England farmhouse.
Based on a true story described in the book “House of Darkness, House of Light: The True Story by Andrea Perron”, “The Conjuring” is in the same vein as “The Amityville Horror”.
I’m a big fan of James Wan’s work and was very excited when I heard about this release, with his past films such as “SAW”, “Dead Silence” and “Insidious” it’s a safe bet that we know how the film will be and I have no problem with that. He has a great way of giving the audience a modern looking film whilst still making it seem old-school at the same, time which I love. The film also has a great cast with the likes of Patrick Wilson, Lili Taylor, Ron Livingston and more. I really am looking forward to see what James Wan has in-store for us.
