Residents of Salem, Massachusetts are visited by a 300-year-old coven of witches.
“The Lords Of Salem” is a film that has been on top of many peoples ‘I need to watch this” list’ since it was first announced, I’ve also kept a close eye on it as I really enjoyed Rob’s first two films. News has trickled here and there about the film, I’m glad to see that not to much has been released about the film as it’s kept it a little mysterious to the viewer. I think Zombie does have a future in the genre, he definitely has the fans but I think this could be the signs of him evolving as a director/writer, we’ll have to wait and see.
The cast of this film is astounding, we have Clint Howard, Daniel Roebuck, Lisa Marie, Richard Lynch, Udo Kier, Camille Keaton, Sid Haig, Billy Drago, Michael Berryman, Patricia Quinn, Barbara Crampton, Meg Foster, Dee Wallace, Ken Foree, Bruce Davison, Jeff Daniel Phillips and of-course Sheri Moon Zombie. We also have Marilyn Manson/Rob Zombie guitar extraordinaire doing the music so that should be interesting . I’m looking forward to the film and will keep an open mind with it, the only question left to answer is ‘can Rob Zombie live up to his hype?’
