A small West Virginia town is hosting the legendary Mountain Man Festival on Halloween, where throngs of costumed party goers gather for a wild night of music and mischief. But an inbred family of hill-billy cannibals kill the fun when they trick and treat themselves to a group of visiting college students.
Now before you wonder why I’m writing about this film I have something to say….. “I’m a fan of the ‘Wrong Turn’ franchise and I’m not ashamed to admit it!”, now that’s out of the way lets get on with things. Everyone loves crazed inbred hill billies, even if they freak you out you still go back for more. The “Wrong Turn” franchise brought the hill-billy story in-to the modern age, it’s been done countless times since the first feature but this franchise beats them all.
The casting of this film is great, we’ve got Roxanne McKee, who UK fans may remember from the TV series “Hollyoaks” and also stars as Doreah from “Game Of Thrones”. She’s only had 1 film appearance, a small part in Brit thiller “F”, but I think we’ll see more and more of her, hopefully in the Horror genre. Also we have horror legend, Horror icon, Doug Bradley!!! For those of you who are unaware of who he is he’s only PINHEAD FROM THE “HELLRAISER” SERIES!!!!! (If you didn’t know that you should be ashamed of yourself. Declan O’Brien is back in the writer/director position which may not make some fans happy but I think he’s done a stand up job.
