When the Davison family comes under attack during their wedding anniversary getaway, the gang of mysterious killers soon learns that one of victims harbors a secret talent for fighting back.
Home invasion movies have always touched a nerve with it’s audience, your home is your sanctuary and it’s the one place you’re supposed to feel safe in this scary world. This is why these style of films work.
The film is brought to us by Director Adam Wingard, who also directed “A Horrible Way To Die” and had segments in both “V/H/S” and “The ABCs Of Death” and Writer Simon Barrett who wrote “Deadbirds” and also 2 segments for “V/H/S” and “The ABCs Of Death”, so a very strong team to say the least. The cast is very much a mixture, we have Sharni Vinson who has appeared in a very eclectic range of film such as “Step Up 3D” to “Bait”, Amy Seimetz who also has a wide ranged acting career. Then we get Ti West who’s more known for his Directing career than acting, and we also have 80’s Scream Queen favourite Barbara Crampton. It looks set to be an intriguing film and I look forward to watching it.
