Issue #4 begins with Abbey Chase’s cover being blown by Zartan. Zartan tries his best to silence the spy, but Abbey is too smart for that and allows the Joes out of their cage and into the fight. Zartan, as a master of disguise, gets away and the Joes are left asking Abbey questions. Once Flint and Scarlett are satisfied they act as a cohesive unit to stop Cobra’s plan in its tracks.
We then find ourselves in Russia, where Sydney and her team are trying to catch a train and derail Cobra and capture Major Bludd before he puts his part of Cobra’s plan in action. Next we find ourselves in China following Jinx and her team trying to stop Firefly and his army of Ninjas. Both teams have their hands full, but they seem to have it under control. Back at Cobra HQ, Abbey, Flint, and Scarlet have a surprise visitor that wants to team up. Their visitor is none other than Snake-Eyes and he has shown up in the nick of time. Why you ask? Because waiting behind door number three is the most deadly weapon Cobra has, Storm Shadow.
Will our Joes be victorious? Who knows, we will have to wait until December when issue #5 comes to stores when this story will be concluded. This book has been a great read since issue #1. I suggest you pick up any back issues that you need. I give this issue a perfect rating of 10 out of 10. Well, what are you waiting for? Get to reading. Yo Joe!
