Well the G.I. Joe/Danger Girl crossover had to end sometime and that end has come. Issue #5 has the Joes as well as Danger Girl taking it to Cobra in one final battle.
As we last left our heroes, Abby, Flint, and Scarlett were attacked by Storm Shadow only to be saved by Snake-Eyes and fellow Joes Stalker and Low-Light. While Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow battle it out, the others try to find a means to escape.
Meanwhile on the USS Flagg, Duke and the others are trying to stop the last missile from reaching its target…them. Valerie is trying to stop the missile but realizes it’s too late so being the smart agent of Danger Girl she is, she just simply redirects the missile. Only problem is, it still detonated and is causing a massive wave to hit the USS Flagg.
Because of this disaster, Abby and the others will not get a hand escaping from the clutches of Cobra. Those are the kind of odds that the Joes and Abby like. A challenge, but nothing they cannot overcome.
Do the Joes and Abby Chase escape Cobra? Did everyone survive the man-made Tsunami that hit the USS Flagg? Is this truly the end of G. I. Joe and Danger Girl working together? For that info, you will have to buy this issue and see for yourself.
All I can say is Yo Joe! This series was a great read! I give this issue as well as the whole series a perfect rating of 10 out of 10. IDW truly knows a hit when it sees one. If you haven’t gotten your copy yet, go get it. You will be glad you did. Now you know and knowing is half the battle.
