“(SOE) today announced the first Downloadable Content (DLC) pack for DC Universe Online (DCUO), “Fight for the Light.” Featuring DC Comics favorite The Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) and the introduction of the game’s seventh power set – Light, the new downloadable content will be available this summer for both PC and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.
DC Universe Online’s “Fight for the Light” DLC pack will be available for download for $9.99 USD this summer for PC and PlayStation®3 players.”
I may pick this back up again just to see how the light power set works out. Looks like Guy Gardner, Oa, and the Red Lantern Corps (pictures below) will all be premiering too, so thats a plus. Still feel like 9.99 is a rip on top of the monthly-sub and the initial promise from SOE to do “free” monthly updates that never happened. I was bored after about four months of doing the same thing over and over again. Just never felt like there was a lot to do. So this is a step in the right direction with more content.
