Well, the spell is lifted and the gang is back together again. With all the Masters of the Universe free from Skeletor’s spell, that can only mean trouble for Adam’s uncle and his henchman of evil. Will Skeletor win? Well the odds surely are not in his favor.
Issue #6 begins with the He-man, Teela, and Man-at-Arms going after Evil-Lyn for the damage she tried to cause them (See issues #4 and #5). We are then taken to Castle Grayskull where Skeletor and Beast-Man plot their next move to prevent He-Man and the Masters of the Universe from getting a victory.
We are then taken to a pub in Veridas where He-Man and his “Masters” plot their next move against Skeletor and his army of evil. He-Man wants to battle his uncle alone but his friends and family think that is a mistake. Reluctantly, He-Man decides to accept the help. Although the Sorceress is dead, she has managed to help He-Man and his army break in Castle Grayskull unseen until it was too late.
What happens next is a classic battle of good vs. evil. As the leaders of the armies meet, Skeletor demands that the death of He-Man will be by his hands and his hands alone. What follows is a great battle with He-Man being the victor. But have we seen the last of Skeletor? Who exactly was Skeletor working with? It seems we will have to wait for those answers but this series was definitely worth reading.
I give this book a perfect 10 out of 10 rating. I know the title has been out for a week or two, but you should really try to get a copy. You will be glad you did. So do yourself a favor and get every issue from this series to prepare you for the new He-Man ongoing series hitting shelves later this year.
