Well, this is usually where I write my Horror film reviews & news but here’s something new for you all, A Horror comic set review, well this is SomeWhatNerdy! And yes I’m a huge comic nerd as-well as Horror fan, there’s more of us than you think.
A great example of that is Jason Crawley a.k.a The Bloke, The Bloke is our host through the comics. With the stories wrote by Jason and art from Mike Hoffman and various other artists we’re given a Creepshow/Tales From The Crypt style comic filled with various short stories.
With 6 stories spread out over 56 pages we’re given great value and more importantly, great entertainment. Each story has it’s own personality and there is something for everyone to enjoy. My favourite segment is “The Art Of Dying” which is a story about an artist who is sick to death of his colleagues and decides to seek revenge for their backstabbing antics.
If you enjoy anthology style Horror comics then this is the PERFECT comic for you, if you don’t at-least give this a chance you are truly missing out on something great! Tomorrow I will be reviewing issue #2 so make sure you keep an eye out for it ;)
