This Horror short was brought to my attention by a friend of mine who runs Scary Tree House. When it comes to Horror shorts I just cant get enough of them, whether they’re meant to scare, poke fun at the genre etc, there’s no doubting they’re highly entertaining.
Which brings me to this little gem of a short done by Nick Everhart, he has truly upped the bar when it comes to Horror shorts. This 5 minute short may have cost $2,000 but if you want to get noticed in this business you sometimes have to put money where your mouth is. Yes $2,000 may seem a-lot for a 5 minute short but it’s money well spent, which is obvious when watching it.
Nick Everhart is showing true potential here, I hope someone gives him a chance to do a full feature in the future, if it’s one thing the Horror genre needs, it’s fresh blood
