Interview with Romina

Greetings my fellow Nerds and Nerdettes, did you vote today?  I hope you did!  Anyway, since today is Election Day, I thought I would present to you my interview with someone who has cosplayed Elektra.  See what I did there?  No matter.  Anyway, my interview today is with an amazing cosplayer from Argentina.  Her name is Romin but some of you may know here as Blackro from her deviantart page.  But enough of my rambling, ladies and gentlemen here is an interview with Romina.

1.  Who are you and where are you from?

My name is Romina and I’m from Argentina

2.  How did you discover cosplay?

Well, I was so into anime, manga, and comics, but it wasn’t enough going to the comic store, so I’ve started surfing the net and registered in several forums, and then I discovered the world of cosplay.

 3.  I really love your Black Canary cosplay.  What made you choose her?

Well, she is my favorite character in the DC universe along with Green Arrow. I started the Green Arrow collection and then decided to cosplay.  She is so gorgeous and so rough and I just love her!

4.  What is your favorite comic character cosplay?

My Dark Phoenix cosplay, the one that made me crazy.

5.  What other genres do you cosplay?

Anime and videogames.

6.  Do you go to conventions to show off your cosplay or do you do photo shoots only?

A little bit of both, but I really enjoy going to conventions.

7.  Do you do other modeling besides cosplay?

No, just cosplay, I’m too old for modeling.

8.  What are your plans for the future?

I’d love to make another World of Warcraft comic and Mera from Aquaman.
