Greetings fans of cosplay, it is time for another interview with a very talented cosplayer.  I have to say, he is the best Green Arrow cosplayer I have ever seen.  You may have also seen his cosplays as Plastic Man and Jason Todd all over the world wide web as well. Anyway, enough of my rambling, let’s get to the interview shall we.

1. Who are you and where are you from?

My name is Brian and I’m from Vancouver, British Columbia

 2. How did you discover cosplay?

I grew up loving Halloween, I’d spend the whole year planning out what I’d wear. I went to my first con back in ’03 and realized I was able to wear costumes on more than just one occasion a year and not just play dress up when you’re alone in your room and you think no one is watching. Costumes have just always been a love of mine. I have cosplayed for almost 10 years now, but I’ve never thought about doing proper photo shoots till just recently. Personally, I’ve just enjoyed constructing and wearing them.

 3. You are the best Green Arrow cosplayer I have ever seen, what made you choose that character?

Thank you so much! I picked him because Green Arrow is my favorite DC character. Like Batman, he’s just a man with a great gift(and money to back it up). I enjoy the comics because they have a lighter, comedic side while also having a serious side that focuses on his life outside of being a hero. Emphasizing that Green Arrow is also just a man, who makes mistakes and is forced to learn and make up for his actions, adds to his depth of character; making him more than just the brooding character that Batman is.

4. I also enjoy your Deathstroke cosplay, out of the two, which one is the most fun?

I enjoy them both equally, but Deathstroke can be done at any time without having to grow out the beard for 3 months.

 5. What other characters/genres have you cosplayed?

Besides my many comic book costumes, I’ve cosplayed many others things. I’m a huge Capcom fan boy so most of my game cosplays have been Resident Evil and Street Fighter related. Actually as a matter of fact, my first cosplay was Guile from SFII. I haven’t cosplayed too much Anime, maybe Tuxedo Mask, Alucard and a few others.

 6. What is your favorite way to debut a new costume?

If it’s a secret, I usually post a very obscure teaser picture and leave people hanging, then see if they can find me at con. Or if it happens to be an especially stupid character, I tend to not tell anyone and just wait for the reactions when I get there.

7. What are some of your other hobbies?

I enjoy martial arts, watching bad movies, collecting comics, sculpting and drawing.

 8. What has been your favorite cosplay so far?

I’d say Booster Gold has been my favorite to do, just being able to play that kind of character was just a complete blast.

 9. Where can my readers see more examples of your work?

10. What are your plans for the near future with your cosplay?

Just to start getting my work out there more and have fun doing what I love.
