Do you remember that old argument you used to have with your friends when you were eight. You know…the one you probably still have with them. “Who would win in a fight between He-Man and Lion-O”. Alas, after extensive research and dozens of wasted but nostalgic hours i have formulated the absolute answer.
In every episode of ThunderCats Lion-O would always venture off somewhere alone or with snarf. That’s the funny thing about cats. Curiosity always gets them. Unbeknownst to him the schemes laid afoot by Mumm-Ra and the mutants.Now he finds himself in a tight pickle. So tight that he would have to whip out the sword of omens and summon the other ThunderCats with the famous “Thunder,Thunder,ThunderCats.HO!” And just like that they could come running and save his hide. It’s nice to have freinds you can lean on.
Now we shift our attention from Third Earth to Eternia. A place filled with both science and fantasy.Here the Masters of the Universe have many adventures. Adventures that find them in a lot of troube. Whether it’s the feindish Skelotor with another plot to enter castle Greyskull or a gang of shadow beaste lurking from the dark. All Prince Adam had to do was call upon his magic sword and say “By the power of Greyskull…” and just like that He-Man would come and save the day.
Even though Lion-O was the lord of the ThunderCats he stilled needed his friends to bail him out of trouble.However He-Man didn’t. In fact not only did he not need help. He was always coming to the rescue of all the Masters. That my fellow nerds is the reason why He-Man would open a can of whip ass on Lion-O. Class dismissed.
