A religious fanatic stalks four teens he feels have transgressed the law of god.
Here we have the final entry in the series, thankfully.
Nine times out of ten a series goes too far, it loses track of what it is and when that happens you can end up with a very poor film that’s sloppily written. That’s exactly what we are given here, it’ a miracle I managed to finish watching it.
The film’s writer Richard Beattie tries to bring back the serious tone of the first film and whilst I applaud him for the effort it felt too little too late and by now audiences had moved on and had basically lost interest in this franchise.
The story for this entry was just too weak for me, I got bored so quickly, there’s only so much I can take from such dull one dimensional characters. By the time the killings start I can’t wait to see them gone, unfortunately that takes too long.
A-lot of the film just felt like filler and in all honesty there’s more movies out there of similar nature that are much better and you’ be saving yourself ninety minutes of dribble. I really did find it that dreadful to watch and I’ve watched a-lot of bad movies.
“Prom Night IV – Deliver Us From Evil” is not worth your time, trust me on this!
