In a Virginia forest village, true love between Ricky McCoy and Jodie Hatfield is sabotaged by their families’ long-standing bitter feud.

With the fourth and final entry in the franchise the series finally comes to an end.

If we’re honest, fans weren’t exactly clamouring for another entry in the series, things weren’t helped when people found out it was going to be a TV movie. Even I had my doubts but luckily I was proved wrong. For a TV movie the film had a theatre movie feel and luckily didn’t hold back on the death scenes like a-lot of TV movies do.

Personally I would’ve liked to have seen Jake West return as Director as he did a great job of reviving peoples interest and the franchise itself but kudos to writer/director Michael Hurst, he did a fantastic job. Sure there are a few plot holes but only minor and not bad enough to ruin the film.

The plot of the film has a “Romeo & Juliet” feel to it and usually I’m not a fan of that as it’s been played out a million times but for this feature it truly worked and I found myself enjoying it, it gives the film a-lot more depth instead of your run of the mill gore fest Horror.

The cast of the film work really well and you can tell they’re trying hard, it was also great to see Lance Henriksen back as ‘Ed Harley’, hell seeing Lance in any film is always a pleasure, he can make a any film work with his presence.

“Pumpkinhead: Blood Feud” is a fitting end to the series and it’s great to see it go out on a bit of a high.
