The evil Djinn is back at again, this time wreaking havoc on the students of Illinois’ Baxter University.
With enjoying the second release so much I had no qualms about a third film being added to the series.
Well that was until I watched it, now I’ve seen my fair share of low budget films and it’s not something that really bothers me but having a low budget isn’t an excuse for making a bad film.
This film is riddled with bad casting, bad plot and more. Director Chris Angel has a-lot to answer for and it’s no surprise that his Directorial career never really took off.
The films only saving grace could have been “The Djinn” but with Divoff out it was up-to John Novak to fill his shoes and instead of a dark character we’re given more of a joker, much like Freddy in his later sequels.
It doesn’t help either that the “Djinn” looks like he’s slowly melting away or the fact that the once gore filled deaths remain but this time around were way to over the top and just seemed silly.
I wouldn’t recommend watching this film unless you wanted to say you’ve seen them all, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
