Ever seen a yeti battle a zombie? or maybe vampires vs robots(throw a mummy in there somewhere, too)? Well, that kind stuff is constantly going on in the League of Legends, which is an up and coming online multi-player real time strategy game evolved from modified versions of Warcraft III.  Rather than complete armies, players control a single champion, which are pitted against one another in either 5v5 or 3v3 matches and have to work together if they expect to destroy the other team’s base and achieve victory.  Extreme replay value is had with over 60 champions to select, a leveling system which allows you to customize your playstyle both in and out of game, and the consistent release of new content every other week.  The game is not out on Macs yet, but it has been in beta for some time now.  Other than being a Mac user, there is no reason not to check this game out because it is completely free.  Account creation, champion purchase, and customization are all free and can all be done at this link (signup.leagueoflegends.com/?ref=4bfc48568f19a)
