Well, since issue #3, the mystery of the Ghost Prison has been solved. Funny thing is, most of the prisoners were put there by a Jedi Knight known as Anakin Skywalker only to be released by the dark lord of the Sith, Darth Vader. Vader needs an army to combat the rebellion plans to assassinate the Emperor and he knows this prison has the scum of the universe that can stop any rebellion.
You would think that Vader would use all the prisoners in his quest, but that is not the way Darth Vader operates. He simply ordered them to fight to the death to prove their respect and to earn their freedom. Not quite what Lieutenant Tohm had in mind, but he is willing to learn from a master of war and he has found one in Lord Vader.
Tohm is almost killed in the riots himself, but was saved by one of the prisoners. Her name is Captain Shonn Volta and she has proven to be quite useful with a blaster. After saving Tohm, she requests that he stays close to her. After all, he is no good to her dead. After a drawn out battle, Vader finally orders the end when he has seen enough. He then places Moff Trachta in charge of whipping the new army into shape.
Tohm has been through a lot during the past few days, but his duty as well as loyalty is to Vader and he will accomplish any task that is placed before him. What task may that be? Who knows, only time will tell. All I know is I cannot wait for the exciting conclusion in issue #5.
I cannot say this enough, the writing is outstanding. The battles are brilliantly drawn as well as the rest of the book. This title deserves more than a 10 rating, so I give this issue a 12 out of 10 rating. Get your copy now!
