J. Scott Campbell has got to be one of the best recognized artists today in terms of his art.\u00a0 I never read Danger Girl, but I always loved the artwork from the issues.\u00a0 Campbell aslo does artwork for other titles such as G.I. Joe.\u00a0 Anyone in the world of Nerdom knows the who, what, when, where of G.I. Joe.\u00a0 I myself was a child of the \u201880\u2019s and remember the good old days when a group of friends would get together with their G.I. Joe figures and stage a battle against Cobra.\u00a0 So, when I saw that Danger Girl and G.I. Joe had a miniseries coming out, I knew I would have to grab it and share my thoughts with my fellow Nerds.<\/h4>\n

The story doesn\u2019t drag at all.\u00a0 The first page we find Flint and Scarlett being attacked by a couple of Cobra Rattlers.\u00a0 As they are being shot down from the sky, their main concern was the plane they were escorting so they break formation to try to save the plane.\u00a0 They realize the only way to survive was to bail out their jet.\u00a0 They do not do this in vain.\u00a0 They use their jet to take out one more of \u00a0the Rattlers.<\/h4>\n

Meanwhile on the U.S.S. Flagg, news of the cargo being lost as well as two Joes brings a visitor from the President.\u00a0 She in turn tells the Joes that their operation is shut down until further notice.\u00a0 Lady Jaye confides with Cover Girl and Jinx about how she wants to get Flint back but feels helpless.\u00a0 Cover Girl then gets out a card that has a number to a member of the organization that operates with Danger Girl.<\/h4>\n

Let\u2019s not forget about Flint and Scarlett!\u00a0 We find them going through a dangerous jungle being surrounded by agents of Cobra.\u00a0 They put up a fight but have no choice but to surrender to Cobra, for now.\u00a0 What will happen next?\u00a0 Only issue #2 holds the answer.<\/h4>\n

Andy Hartnell is a great writer and it shows in this issue.\u00a0 I could not believe how well it was written.\u00a0 Honestly, I never thought I would get so interested in a Danger Girl comic.\u00a0 I love the cover art by Campbell as well as the interior art by Royle.\u00a0 I give this issue a strong rating 9 out of 10.\u00a0 Get our issue today, while you still can!<\/h4>\n
