Lets start with one of the most talked about of the year, &#8220;Silent Night&#8221;. Now this is a remake of the Horror classic &#8220;Silent Night, Deadly Night&#8221; so my first reaction to the news of it wasn&#8217;t exactly great.\u00a0You have to remember that &#8220;Silent Night, Deadly Night&#8221; stunned audiences worldwide, was also banned in America, and remains the most notorious Christmas movie in history.\u00a0The problem is I&#8217;m not the biggest fan of remakes, never have been, and &#8220;Silent Night, Deadly Night&#8221; is a film that is special to me. It was the first killer Santa film I saw and it opened up a whole new world for me.<\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/somewhatnerdy.com\/home\/coming-soon-silent-night-2012\/silent-night-deadly-night-remake-santa-with-scythe\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12508\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12508\" title=\"silent-night-deadly-night-remake-santa-with-scythe\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/somewhatnerdy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/silent-night-deadly-night-remake-santa-with-scythe-e1352862723758.jpg?resize=500%2C333\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/h3>\n<h3>I put my feelings to one side and waited for more news to be released, the cast seems strong with the likes of\u00a0Malcolm McDowell,\u00a0Jaime King,\u00a0Brendan Fehr,\u00a0Donal Logue,\u00a0Lisa Marie,\u00a0Jessica Cameron,\u00a0Courtney-Jane White,\u00a0Aaron Hughes,\u00a0John B. Lowe and more. You can&#8217;t deny that&#8217;s strong casting but it&#8217;ll take more than that to win me over. From what I&#8217;ve seen so far I&#8217;m not exactly getting my hopes up but I will give it a viewing as I do love a good Christmas horror and I&#8217;m curious.
