The All New X-men issue #2 picks up where we left off in issue #1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Beast of the present is trying to convince his past self that the X-men of the past need to come to their future, Beast\u2019s present.\u00a0 It seems confusing, and at times it is but Beast hopes that Cyclops can talk some sense into Cyclops.\u00a0 Meanwhile, while Beast is away, Kitty and Bobby are trying to find out where he disappeared to and realize that something isn\u2019t quite right.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The X-men of the past agree to go with Beast only to be in shock and awe when they arrive.\u00a0 Before Beast can explain what\u2019s going on, they are surprised by Wolverine.\u00a0 He smelled Cyclops and went in attack mode.\u00a0 Luckily, Jean was able to stop him before he killed the wrong Cyclops.\u00a0 One of my favorite scenes happens in this \u201cbattle\u201d, Iceman confronts the Iceman of the past and they are both startled at what they see.\u00a0 Beast\u2019s mutation is getting worse causing the present X-men to \u201cignore\u201d the past X-men.\u00a0 The original 5 take this opportunity to find the present Cyclops and confront him on what he has done.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Issue #3 begins with Cyclops showing Magneto and Magik their new HQ.\u00a0 Their new base of operations is none other than the Weapon X facility.\u00a0 Fast forward a couple of days and they are on a mission to free Emma Frost.\u00a0 With her release some inner turmoil arises causing a little discussion between Magneto and Scott.\u00a0 For those of you who did not read the Avengers vs. X-men series, when Scott had control of the phoenix force, he did something to Magneto which caused him to lose his powers to a certain degree.\u00a0 The only reason Magneto is along for Cyclops\u2019s crusade is to get his powers back.\u00a0 Well, Cyclops and his team go after another mutant sighting only to be confronted by his younger self and his old team.\u00a0 Which Cyclops will win?\u00a0 Tune in to issue #4 to find out those results.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I gladly give both issues a perfect rating of 10 out of 10.\u00a0 The writing is remarkable and the artwork is amazing.\u00a0 This title has brought joy back to this X-men fan.\u00a0 I hope it continues on this journey.\u00a0 I am just waiting for that time Magneto rises again, you know he will.\u00a0 :)<\/strong><\/p>\n
