Greetings Boys and Girls,<\/strong><\/p>\n Tis the Season for giving, so I figured I would\u00a0post a new Cosplay Interview everyday until Christmas.\u00a0 Today’s feature is on a very talented and beautiful cosplayer known as Mad Mel Madigan.\u00a0 Her cosplays are always awesome so I know you will want to visit her FB page to see her work.\u00a0 Enough of the rambling of a mad man, I now present to you my intereview with Mad Mel Madigan.<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. Who are you and where are you from?<\/strong><\/p>\n My name is Mel, or Mad Mel Madigan in the cosplay world and I am originally from Lehigh Acres, FL\u00a0 but currently am in Miami<\/strong><\/p>\n 2. How did you discover cosplay?<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019ve been completely in love with costumes for forever but the cosplaying starting when Miami Wizard World came around 2 years ago.\u00a0 It was my very first con and I wore my first version of Ivy and my first version of Psylocke.\u00a0 I instantly fell in love with it and haven\u2019t been able to stop!<\/strong><\/p>\n 3. I must admit, I am in love with your Typhoid Mary cosplay. What made you choose her?<\/strong><\/p>\n I love Typhoid Mary and how in one panel she will be super sweet and totally loving to Daredevil and in the next she\u2019ll set him on fire.\u00a0 She\u2019s completely crazy and, if you hadn\u2019t been able to tell by the \u201cmad\u201d in my name, I\u2019m pretty crazy myself.\u00a0 Though I promise I won\u2019t set anyone on fire\u2026Also I LOVE her style.\u00a0 Most of my cosplays have a punk\/rock and roll feel to them and she fits into that perfectly.\u00a0 I have a not so secret obsession with all things dealing with leather and fishnets<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a04. What other comic characters have you cosplayed?<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019ve done a few different versions of Psylocke, a few different versions of Black Cat, a few different versions of Mary Jane Watson-Parker, Gwen Stacy, Poison Ivy, Barbra Gordon Batgirl, and a bunch of other non-comic book cosplays<\/strong><\/p>\n 5. What is your favorite genre to cosplay?<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019m definitely more of a comic girl.\u00a0 I grew up on them so they hold a special place in my heart.\u00a0 But video games is a close second<\/strong><\/p>\n 6. What is your favorite way to show off your new costumes?<\/strong><\/p>\n I usually show them off at a convention first and then do a kickass photoshoot but sometimes I get really impatient and just go straight to the kickass photoshoot<\/strong><\/p>\n 7. Do you do other modeling besides cosplay?<\/strong><\/p>\n Yes I do.\u00a0 But cosplay is always more enjoyable.<\/strong><\/p>\n 8. What are your plans for the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n Lots and lots more cosplays planned!\u00a0 Also, I have this off the wall dream of becoming an actor.\u00a0 ;)\u00a0 hopefully that will be happening sometime in the future.\u00a0 Come onnnn psylocke movie!<\/strong><\/p>\n 9.
