First things first, buy this issue!\u00a0 Punisher: Nightmare is a 5 issue limited series that will come out weekly from Marvel Comics.\u00a0 I haven\u2019t gotten issue #2 yet, but you can bet I will soon.\u00a0 This series is amazing!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Punisher: Nightmare follows our friend Frank as he continues to punish the evil in the streets.\u00a0 In issue #1, we are allowed in Frank\u2019s mind to see how the Punisher was born, especially when Frank reads about an Iraq war veteran who is gunned down with his family in the crossfire of a mob hit.\u00a0 Of course this hits home to Frank and he knows someone needs to be punished.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While on his mission, Frank visits this father in the hospital and lets him know he plans to make things right.\u00a0 Before Frank can leave the room, the veteran makes it clear that he plans on killing those who killed his family.\u00a0 It seems that Frank may have a kindred spirit in the making.\u00a0 Just who is this man known as \u201cJohnny Nightmare\u201d?\u00a0 Does he have what it takes to become the monster that Frank became when his family died?\u00a0 Will Frank allow John to get justice by his own hands?\u00a0 These are questions that can be answered when you pick up your issues of Punisher: Nightmare today.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I cannot say enough positive things about this book.\u00a0 Gimple\u2019s writing is spot on and the art of Texeira makes it that much better.\u00a0 Definitely a great creative team!\u00a0 Any Punisher fan should get this book, and if you are not a Punisher fan, you should get the book as well.\u00a0 After reading this book, everyone will be a Punisher fan. This is by far the best book that has come from Marvel this year.\u00a0 I give this book a rating of 15 out of 10.\u00a0 With titles like Daredevil: End of Days and Punisher: Nightmare, it seems that this will be a great year for Marvel\u2019s limited series collections.<\/strong><\/p>\n
