If you are like me, you love a good Darth Vader story.\u00a0 And boy do I have a good one for you.\u00a0 Star Wars \u2013 Purge: the Tyrant\u2019s Fist is a 2 part story about Lord Vader and his quest to hunt down the remaining Jedi shortly after Palpatine issued Order 66.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Issue #1 follows Vader on his quest to purge a Jedi-back insurgency on the planet Vaklin.\u00a0 The insurgency is led by a Jedi Knight known as Cho\u2019na Bene.\u00a0 In Vader\u2019s efforts to kill him, has left a lake of death behind him.\u00a0 Although Vader is relentless in his mission, Cho\u2019na found a way to escape. Well, as we all know, Vader is very resourceful.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vader was successful in killing two of Cho\u2019na\u2019s fellow Jedi warriors, but his obsession with killing has blinded him, or has it?\u00a0 The Emperor reminds Vader that the insurgency must be stopped but without hurting the resources on Vaklin.\u00a0 So, needless to say that ruined his plans to bomb a planet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Issue #2 lets us witness what it would have been like to be on a planet that is taken over by the Empire and how swiftly it can occur.\u00a0 Elsewhere on Vaklin, we are witnesses to Vader\u2019s ongoing search for Cho\u2019na.\u00a0 Vader and his prize meet and have an epic battle, but Vader walks away convinced that Cho\u2019na will die where he lies after their battle.\u00a0 Does Cho\u2019na die?\u00a0 Well, you will have to get these 2 issues to find out.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I apologize if you feel this review was too vague, but I really want you to be able to enjoy this story on your own.\u00a0 I know I did.\u00a0 It just proves how much of a bad ass Vader really is.\u00a0 I give this title a strong rating of 9 out of 10. It would have gotten a 10, but I wanted more.\u00a0 Oh, and wait until you see the promo for the next Vader title to be released in April. It looks to be a killer!<\/strong><\/p>\n
