Thunderbolts is continuing to be one of the best \u201cnew\u201d books of the Marvel Now series.\u00a0 I just love this team of anti-heroes and how they always manage to get the job done. Issue #3 begins with Deadpool meeting the Rulk at a dock in Madripoor discussing the contents of one of the containers. Meanwhile, the Punisher and Venom are training freedom fighters how to fight ruthlessly and Elektra is held prisoner by an unknown force.\u00a0 In case you didn\u2019t read issue #2, Elektra and Deadpool were ambushed.\u00a0 Deadpool was assumed to be dead and Elektra was taken prisoner.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fast forward to issue #3 and you have Deadpool explaining the dangers of his cargo.\u00a0 What is his cargo you ask?\u00a0 The cargo is none other than the Leader.\u00a0 Yes, the villain known as the Leader who gave the original Hulk such hell and the same Leader who the Rulk stopped by absorbing his power. The Leader has Intel the new Thunderbolts team needs.\u00a0 That info is the location of his brother, Madman who happens to be the dictator that has Elektra hostage.\u00a0 I really cannot go into any more detail because I do not want to spoil the book for you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I give this issue a strong 8 out of 10 rating.\u00a0 The writing is solid.\u00a0 The one-liners from Deadpool in this issue are just genius.\u00a0 I actually caught myself laughing out loud at some of the things that Deadpool said.\u00a0 You really need to get this book if you haven\u2019t already picked up a copy.\u00a0 You will be glad you did!<\/strong><\/p>\n
