Greetings my fellow Nerds and Nerdettes!\u00a0 I am back from my week long hiatus and I am looking forward to posting some great stuff this week.\u00a0<\/strong> We begin with the return of my cosplay interviews and boy do I have a good one today!\u00a0 Today’s cosplay feature is the one and only Diamond Cosplay from Chile.\u00a0 So sit back, relax, and enjoy my interview with Diamond Cosplay.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Who are you and where are you from?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m Diamond a 23 years old Chilean girl who loves cosplay.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. How did you discover cosplay?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Well, In 2010 I went to a convention and I saw many guys dressed as Pokemons, Vocaloid characters, etc… and I thought : WHAT?\u00a0… then a friend of mine told me what cosplays are and I liked it! ! …. so since then I started to make my costumes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. I really love your version of Kratos, what made you choose that character and how did the idea come about?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kratos is my favorite videogame character. His attitude and the way he fight against the gods is amazing! … also the videogame is incredible!. I tried to get a sophisticated but strong view of a female Kratos and I think that I got it …. people like it!<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. I notice you cosplay a lot of video game characters, what other genres do you cosplay?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just videogames, because most of the times I just see anime cosplayers, and people forgot that exits a lot of genres and you can make a costume related to comics, series, etc…. but I have a couple of anime characters in my cosplay book.<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. Well, since you like video games so much, which is your favorite video game and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0I would say that Street Fighter. I grew up watching my uncle playing with his friends.. and when he was outside, I liked to play using Chun Li or Ken Master!<\/strong><\/div>\n

6. Which way do you enjoy showing your costumes the most, conventions or photo-shoots?<\/strong><\/div>\n

Basically in conventions, but many photographers invite me to photo shoots. One of my spoiled photographer is Esteban Chac\u00f3n, he makes a GREAT job… you can visit his webpage : www.teamjapan.cl\/<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

7. What other hobbies do you have besides cosplay?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hmmm… I like to go out with my friends of MKo (Chilean cosplay group of Mortal Kombat), have fun with my pets (animal lover <3) and share with my family every weekend :)<\/strong><\/p>\n

8. What are your plans for the future?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maybe, grow up as a cosplayer and show to other countries that in Chile we have many cool cosplayers… and create a cosplay store with different accessories, wigs, costumes or tutorials.<\/strong><\/p>\n

WHY? !!! ha ha ha so difficult to choose :( … ok.. Jade was the first costume that I made, I made it with so much love and dedication… this character has a special emotional burden :) … and the cutest moments as cosplayer.<\/strong><\/p>\n
