The following is an interview I did with one of the founders of the site Geek Goddess.\u00a0 They are making a 2014 cosplay calendar and I think all of my cosplay fans would want to hear about it.\u00a0 Before I go any further I must warn that Geek Goddess is an adult orientated site and it does contain cosplay models showing some skin to put it softly.\u00a0 If you do not support nude modeling, than this is not the site for you.\u00a0 However, if you enjoy great cosplayers, than this is the calendar that you want in your office for 2014.\u00a0 I personally know quite a few of these models from past interviews and some of them have stayed in touch.\u00a0 So enough of my rambling about NSFW sites and gorgeous women, let us get straight to the short interview and promo piece we created to help get the word out for this great calendar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Who are you and were are you from?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My name is Oracle and I am one of the founders of GeekGoddess. \u00a0 I handle a lot of the behind the scenes operations including a lot of the photography. \u00a0I hail from that hot and muggy state called Florida :)<\/strong><\/div>\n

2. What exactly is Geek Goddess?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
GeekGoddess (often referred to as MyGeekGoddess.com<\/a>) is a membership based website run by two incredibly Geeky\u00a0 women\u00a0(myself and Jessica Nova) featuring nude pinups of equally geeky and\/or nerdy ladies, our Goddesses.\u00a0 Our Goddesses like to get dressed up in costume and then take those costumes off ;). <\/strong><\/div>\n

3. Who might my readers know that is on your roster of cosplayers?<\/strong><\/div>\n

That probably depends on the reader. \u00a0Some of our Goddesses have been cosplaying in and out of costume for years. \u00a0Others only bared all after joining us. \u00a0 While some might be more recognizable then others I have to give love to all our lovely ladies; Alice Malice, Fauna, Jessica Nova(also my co-founder!), Kalika, Kearstin, Kassandra Leigh, Nana Valtiel, Solara, and Valkara Hail. \u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n

4. Your site contains nude images does your calendar?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We thought long and hard about this before deciding that our Calendar will feature implied (no nip) and clothed images. \u00a0While we will still aim to be as sexy as possible we wanted to make sure that the Calendar would be safe for public display. \u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n

5. How much are the calendars?<\/strong><\/div>\n

Right now you can pre-order a calendar (including shipping) through our IndieGogo campaign for $25. \u00a0While we haven’t set a firm price for calendars purchased after the campaign ends it should be comparable. \u00a0For our international fans you can pre-order a calendar for $35 (includes shipping).\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n

6. Do you go to cons around the world making people aware of your site?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We are actually a pretty new site; we launched in September of 2012. \u00a0As such, we don’t get to travel to as many conventions as we’d ultimately like but we’ll be adding more conventions to our roster as we grow. \u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Even if we aren’t out in force many of our Goddesses visit conventions on their own where you could run into them. \u00a0 For example, the lovely Kearstin will be at ACEN (Anime Central) in Chicago this weekend. \u00a0She’ll be in amazing costumes and will have GeekGoddess cards on hand to help spread the word.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n

Our last convention was MTAC (Mid Tennesse Anime Convention) in Nashville. \u00a0We were invited by the amazing staff who helped us throw our first official party and host a number of fun panels. \u00a0We even had a live photoshoot where fans got a chance to watch \u00a0Kearstin bare all. \u00a0 The set “Goddess” is now live on our website. \u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
