This comic review is going to be a little different than what you are used to.\u00a0 You see, there are so many great titles out there that I don’t always get to read them right away.\u00a0 For those of you who wait to buy an issue to hear what I think first, I apologize.\u00a0 My summer has started so I will be able to be more up to date, but there are issues that I have read that still need to be discussed so I am going to do what I call a Collective Review.\u00a0 For example, today I am reviewing All New X-Men issues #9-11.\u00a0 Yes, issue # 11 is the most current but I still feel you need to know what is going on in issues # 9 and 10.\u00a0 So, here we go.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In an\u00a0All New X-Men #9, we find Kitty Pride training the original X-men in a real world scenario using the Danger Room.\u00a0 She is trying to get the original 5 up to speed on what they may face in the present timeline.\u00a0 Jean Grey is still working on staying out of people’s minds, but she pulls out the name Mystique from Scott’s mind causing Kitty to go in a panic and trying to find out how Scott knew her.\u00a0 While Kitty tries to gain the information she wants, we discover that Mystique has used her “gift” to sneak herself and Sabretooth aboard the Raft to break out a fellow mutant known as Lady Mastermind.\u00a0\u00a0Mastermind uses her talents to keep the guards occupied while they make their get away.\u00a0 Exactly what does Mystique have in mind?\u00a0 Well, we find out more in issue #10.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Issue #1o begins with Mystique, Sabretooth, and Lady Mastermind using their skills to rob a bank as well as make the citizens think it was the X-men doing the robbing and killing.\u00a0\u00a0 While back at the School for Higher Learning, we have present day Cyclops and his Uncanny X-men trying to recruit some of the students still at the school.\u00a0 Of course this doesn’t make Logan or the others Happy one bit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

While both sides discuss why the other team is wrong for the students, the real Maria Hill is trying to piece together exactly what is going on.\u00a0 Why are the X-men attacking\u00a0innocents?\u00a0 Is this a Cyclops ploy?\u00a0 Exactly what is going on?\u00a0\u00a0 Well, we the readers know what’s going on, Mystique is pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes.\u00a0 Back at the school, one of the original X-men makes the decision to leave and join Cyclops new school. Who is it you ask?\u00a0 Well, you’ll find out in issue #11.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Well, as you already know if you have been reading the All New X-men titles,\u00a0the original Angel has decided to join up with Cyclops, Frost, Magneto, Magik, and the others.\u00a0\u00a0Why?\u00a0\u00a0It’s simple, he feels that Cyclops’s “nonsense” sounds better than the\u00a0nonsense he was already made part of when Beast brought them to the future.\u00a0Although they do not like the decision, there is nothing they can really do.\u00a0 Jean tries to use her mental powers to order him, but Cyclops’s team has more telekinetic mutants\u00a0and they are more powerful.\u00a0 Elsewhere, Mystique and her crew are at it again, thus time they are after Tony Stark and his Intel as well as money.\u00a0 This of course cause an alert to the real X-men and the go in pursuit to stop the imposters.\u00a0 They run into a little turbulence and they are forced to land.\u00a0 When they land, they realize they are in a world of hurt because the Uncanny Avengers are there to take them in.\u00a0 What will happen next?\u00a0 Just like me, you will have to wait for issue #12 to see.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I give all three issues a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.\u00a0 The writing\u00a0of Bendis is legendary and the artwork throughout the series has been phenomenal!\u00a0 If you haven’t jumped on the All New X-Men bandwagon yet you need to because it is definitely worth the trip.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
