{"id":18382,"date":"2013-09-18T20:14:18","date_gmt":"2013-09-19T01:14:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/somewhatnerdy.com\/home\/?p=18382"},"modified":"2013-09-20T23:05:57","modified_gmt":"2013-09-21T04:05:57","slug":"derfs-comic-picks-of-the-week-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/somewhatnerdy.com\/home\/derfs-comic-picks-of-the-week-13\/","title":{"rendered":"Derf&#8217;s Comic Picks of the Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/somewhatnerdy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/greenlantern233c-2.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-18383\" alt=\"greenlantern233c (2)\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/somewhatnerdy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/greenlantern233c-2-680x519.jpg?resize=680%2C519\" width=\"680\" height=\"519\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s Wednesday so you know what that means&#8230;New Comics!\u00a0 The following titles are the titles that I am checking out this week.\u00a0 What titles are you reading lately?\u00a0 Feel free to leave a comment and let us know what titles you would like reviewed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Let&#8217;s start off with DC Comics and the Forever Evil issues that have hit the shelves.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We have Action Comics #23.3, Green Lantern #23.3, Justice League Dark #23.2, Justice League of America #7.3, Teen Titans #23.2, and Wonder Woman #23.1.\u00a0 Other key issues from DC Comics that I plan on reading are Arrow #11, Batman Beyond Universe #2, and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #6.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Of course we can&#8217;t have new comics without our friends at Marvel, especially while Infinity is going on.\u00a0 There are some key issues to Marvel&#8217;s Infinity story arc in stores this week.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s start with Infinity #3, and continue with New Avengers #10 and Thunderbolts\u00a0# 15.\u00a0 Infinity is not the only amazing story arc that is hitting the shelves today.\u00a0 The X-men event Battle of the Atom continues with part 4 found in issue #12 of Uncanny X-men.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Marvel issues that I am getting as soon as I can are Hawkeye #13, Savage Wolverine #8 and #9, and Secret Avengers #9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/somewhatnerdy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/UncannyX-men12.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-18386\" alt=\"UncannyX-men12\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/somewhatnerdy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/UncannyX-men12-680x476.jpg?resize=680%2C476\" width=\"680\" height=\"476\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s Wednesday so you know what that means&#8230;New Comics!\u00a0 The following titles are the titles that I am checking out this week.\u00a0 What titles are &hellip;
