The story of Angela’s rampage continues in the next entry of the series.<\/h3>\n

Shot back-to-back and at the very same location as “Sleepaway Camp II \u2013 Unhappy Campers”, “Sleepaway Camp III – Teenage Wasteland” takes us back to the scene of the crime of the grisly murders only this time she’s back as a camper.<\/h3>\n

Carrying on with the b-movie fun there’s still plenty of humour, boobs and of course deaths.\u00a0The script initially contained more elaborate deaths for the characters which were ultimately trimmed for budget reasons. ‘Herman’ was to have a flaming poker shoved into his crotch with ‘Angela’ proclaiming it ” a weenie roast!” and ‘Tawny’ and her entire news team were meant to die in a fiery explosion after Angela cut the break lines to their van.<\/h3>\n

The plot was actually quite clever, bringing rich and poor together to try and create a harmonious atmosphere between them. Ultimately it doesn’t work and the owners aren’t the nice people they portray themselves to be. But as we all know ‘Angela’ will sort everything out.<\/h3>\n

The death scenes are highly original and it features a high body count to keep you entertained, every death has a humourus side to them, my favourite being the lawnmower scene.<\/h3>\n

“Sleepaway Camp III – Teenage Wasteland” is tons of fun, a great film to watch with a bunch of friends and maybe a few cheeky drinks, just sit back and enjoy.<\/h3>\n

Miscellaneous facts about the film:<\/h3>\n

Most of the characters in the film are named after characters from West Side Story, The Brady Bunch and The Munsters<\/h3>\n

The hockey mask Angela used in Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers is seen in the fishing scene. As it is pulled out of the water, another camper remarks that the date is “Saturday the 14th.”<\/h3>\n

The character of Arab was originally called Action.<\/h3>\n

Tracy Griffith originally auditioned for the part of Angela before being cast as Marcia.<\/h3>\n

The license numbers on the truck correspond with the house numbers in “A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984).<\/h3>\n

The movie’s subtitle “Teenage Wasteland” comes from one of the director’s favourite songs (The Who’s “Baba O’Reilly”).<\/h3>\n

The girls’ cabin is the same one used in the previous film, simply redressed.<\/h3>\n
