How is your MARVELous Monday going? \u00a0I hope it is absolutely SMASHing! Speaking of SMASH, today’s comic review continues our journey with Bruce Banner in Marvel Knights: Hulk. \u00a0In issue #2, we find out a little more about who is after the Hulk and the reasons why. \u00a0You see, organizations such as A.I.M. want the secret of the Hulk to create a weapon not only to be used but to be sold on the black market.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Issue #2 begins with S.H.I.E.L.D.’s collection of Intel from what exactly happened in Paris. \u00a0The authority on site lets them know the casualties as well as the fact that they have a survivor being held nearby. \u00a0They thought he was secured but someone was willing to destroy the “make shift” prison to sneak out the survivor. \u00a0Why is this survivor important? \u00a0Well, simply because it is Dr. Bruce Banner aka the Hulk.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While\u00a0S.H.I.E.L.D. tries to figure out who sprung Banner, we are taken to the ship that took Banner. \u00a0Here we are introduced to Commander Harrow and her army. \u00a0We learn that the main threat is A.I.M. and they want the Hulk. Commander Harrow also wants the Hulk, but she wants to use him as a weapon to take on A.I.M. in this war. \u00a0She claims she can control the monster within Banner. \u00a0They do manage to make Bruce angry but the result was a gigantic miscalculation on their part. \u00a0They gave him too much serum to control him. \u00a0This serum also contained a gamma strength “boost” which caused the usually large green monster to be 10 times the size as usual. It appears that Harrow has here secret weapon in her war against A.I.M., but just how long can she remain in control of the Hulk? \u00a0Well, I guess we will find out in a few weeks when issue #3 hits the shelves.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I give this issue a strong 8 out of 10 rating. \u00a0Trust me, when you finish reading this masterpiece, you will be wanting more. \u00a0Until next time, get your READ on!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
