What time is it? \u00a0No, it’s not adventure time, but it is time for another interview with a beautiful and talented cosplayer. \u00a0Today, my NERDs, you are in for a treat. \u00a0I have an interview with the one and only SunsetDragon for your reading pleasure. \u00a0She is a very talented cosplayer as well as an outstanding artist. \u00a0Please make sure to check out her page and give her a like when you are finished reading this interview. 1. Who are you and where are you from?<\/strong><\/div>\n

I’m known as SunsetDragon and I’m from the United States, East Coast.<\/strong><\/div>\n

2. How did you discover cosplay?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
A friend of mine in\u00a0high school\u00a0told me to attend Otakon one Sunday with her, and I did! Needless to say my life was\u00a0changed after that. Seeing all these people in costume really made me want to find out more and try it myself for the next year.<\/strong><\/div>\n

3. I really love your New 52 Supergirl cosplay. What made you choose her?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I’ve always adored Supergirl, and the new 52 design really appealed to me as I’d been wanting to try a leotard + tall boots cosplay again to challenge myself. I also wanted to make sure I made all the seams on the costume like her costume has in the comics, so it was a fun challenge.<\/strong><\/div>\n

4. Have you cosplayed other comic characters?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

Yep! I’ve done Black Cat, Rogue, Raven and a casual Wonder Woman.<\/strong><\/div>\n

5. What other genres do you cosplay?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
My favorite genre is fantasy. I’m hoping to make several elf costumes next year, and I’ve already made a ton of fairy, faun and a few original inspired fantasy costumes. I’m also a big Disney cosplayer, my favorites being Merida and Tinkerbell.<\/strong><\/div>\n

6. What is your favorite way to show of a new costume?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

In a convention surrounded by my friends, having a blast! I love when other people appreciate the hard work I put into a costume.<\/strong><\/div>\n

7. Do you do other modeling besides cosplay?<\/strong><\/div>\n

8. What are your plans for the future?<\/strong><\/div>\n

I’m currently planning and working on a simple Reese from Animal Crossing costume to wear when I’m working my SunsetDragon booth at cons. I want to challenge myself more with bigger props and costumes that light up somehow.<\/strong><\/div>\n

10. If you had to pick one cosplay, which one is your favorite?<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
Tough choice! My current favorite to wear is probably still my Merida cosplay. I love running around as her and twirling in her big green dress. I think I’m most proud of my Blood Elf Paladin cosplay and my Ursula Dress.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
