The evil Djinn is awakened once more, and must collect 1001 souls to begin the Apocalypse.<\/h3>\n

2 years after “Wishmaster” was released we finally got the sequel fans were waiting for, surprisingly it was a direct to video release.<\/h3>\n

\"Capture\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The first feature film had gained quite a fanbase since it release which is why it was so surprising this sequel didn’t get a theatrical release but at-least we got to see the series carry on.<\/h3>\n

Luckily we also see Andrew Divoff return to reprise the role of ‘The Djinn’ and we also get a better lead female actress with\u00a0Holly Fields, no disrespect to\u00a0Tammy Lauren but Holly is just easier to watch and not as stiff.<\/h3>\n

\"WISHMASTER215\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Jack Sholder takes over director duties for this sequel, I’d liked to have seen\u00a0Robert Kurtzman return and carry on the story but Sholder did a decent enough job. His past work before the film easily speaks for itself with the likes of “Alone In The Dark\u00a0“, “A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge” and more.<\/h3>\n

I must admit that I much preferred the plot in this sequel to it’s predecessor, it had a real intensity to it. I know a-lot of people may disagree with me but I think this is a sequel that was more fun to watch than the original.<\/h3>\n

“Wishmaster 2 – Evil Never Dies” is most definitely worth your time if you enjoyed the first film, for those of you who wrote it off a long time ago, give it another shot!<\/h3>\n
