Five people spend the night in an abandoned house, the Amityville haunted house, and soon find themselves terrorized by assorted ghosts, venomous insects and ghostly apparitions.<\/h3>\n

Not even a year after the last outing we’re given another addition to the franchise.<\/h3>\n

The series continues rolling on but long gone are the scares and quality story telling. Here we’re given a new treatment that is similar to “Amityville 3” just lacking everything that made it watch-able.<\/h3>\n

By now you can see the interest has waned and the studios are just trying to cash in on the “Amityville” name, I felt disrespected and stupid just for watching it.<\/h3>\n

Director\u00a0Tom Berry did an awful job and it’s no surprise his directing career never took off, same goes for the cast of the film.I don’t mean that to sound as harsh as it does but it’s the truth.<\/h3>\n

The book was a Hans Holzer novel and makes for good reading but this film, this is an ‘Amityville’ film in name only. It’s even set in a\u00a0different house and Amityville fans can tell it’s not\u00a0112 Ocean Avenue.<\/h3>\n

“The Amityville Curse” is best avoided at all costs, don’t say I didn’t warn you.<\/h3>\n
