Greetings Gamers,<\/strong><\/p>\n

I know video game reviews really aren’t my specialty on SWN, I am more the comic book and cosplay expert on the site, but today\u00a0<\/strong>I felt that I had to tell you about a new Facebook game out there. \u00a0One of the reasons, I felt I needed to be the one to review this game is because it is comic orientated. \u00a0Hell,m who am I kidding that is the only reason I felt I should be the one to review the game, lol. \u00a0 The game is called, Marvel Avengers Alliance Tactics and it is the second Facebook game from Marvel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first FB game Marvel releases was Avengers Alliance, which has a large following (including myself and other some what nerds). \u00a0So, like any other business, Marvel saw potential for making a sequel. \u00a0But how do you add to the success of Marvel Avengers Alliance? \u00a0Simple, you tie it in with your films and TV series that are major hits. \u00a0I mean the game has Avengers in the title so that will draw a crowd. \u00a0And from that crowd comes word of mouth which will bring in more gamers.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tactics is a game that introduces a lot of Marvel’s Heroes and Villains for you to battle. \u00a0Not only do you get to go on missions, you get to build your own S.H.I.E.L.D. base and upgrade for more security (see image below). \u00a0From your base you can train your heroes and plan attacks on enemy bases. \u00a0In the beginning, you are fighting A.I.M. and their advances in technology. That is where I am right now, for I have only had time to play the game a few times, but I love it. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

During game play, you can chat with other gamers, or if you are like me you can shut the chat window to see more of the game. \u00a0I mentioned earlier you can train and upgrade your players, to me it is easier to do in Tactics than it is in the first Avengers Alliance game. \u00a0Another thing I like about tactics is that the movement is more realistic than the first game. \u00a0The characters have depth and you can select where you are going to move to before the attacks (see image below). \u00a0This game has become my newest FB obsession.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sure, like any FB game, Tactics can have some glitches slow down game play but they are working on that I am sure. \u00a0I know this review isn’t what you are used to from Somewhatnerdy, but give me a break, I am used to reviewing books, XD. \u00a0Anyway, all being said, I give this game a rating of 8.5 out of 10. \u00a0I am sure when the glitches are worked out, I will return to give it a 10.<\/strong><\/p>\n
